Naulin Volker

Background:
Volker Naulin is an internationally renowned expert for transport in magnetised plasmas and for turbulence with a focus on edge plasmas. He is author of massively parallel high performance numerical codes. Volker Naulin is regular referee for international journals including Physical Review Letters, Nature and Nature Physics. He has been supervising a number of Ph.D and M.Sc thesis projects. He is author and co-author of more than 150 international journal articles with an H-index > 30. Volker Naulin is a Marie Curie Fellow and has served as Leader of JET Taskforce Transport and vice chair of the EFDA Topical group transport.

He is professor in the Department of Physics at the Technical University of Denmark, DTU, where he leads the Section for Plasma Physics and Fusion Energy. He is Danish representative in the F4E governing board and represents the European small countries in the EUROfusion bureau.
